Molecular sieve 4A
Molecular sieve 4A is an alkali metal aluminosilicate with sodium form of type A crystal structure.Molecular sieve 4A has an effective pore opening of about 4 angstroms(0.4mn).
It will adsorb most molecule with a kinetic diameter of less than 4 angstroms and exclude
those larger.Such adsorbable molecules include simple gas molecules such as oxygen,nitrogen,carbon dioxide and straight chain hydrocarbons.Branched chain hydrocarbon
and aromatics are excluded

Application
Desiccant for gas and other material; adsorbent for Air purification and for the separation of methane, ethane and propane.
(1)Dehydration of electronic element,pharmaceutical,food,etc.
(2)Drying and removing of CO2 from natural gas,LPG,air,inert and atmospheric gases,etc
(3)Removal of hydrocarbon,ammonia and methanol from gas streams(ammonia syn gas treating)
(4)Dehydration of refrigerant and air in the air break unit of buses,trucks and locomotives
regeneration:
1. Removal of water: Hot gas at 200-350℃ and pressure 0.3-0.5Kg/cm2 flows through the Zeolite bed for 3-4 h. lettemperature decreases down to 110-180℃, cooling.
2. Removal of organics: Regeneration is achieved by means ofsteam treatment to remove organics, and then remove water withmethod 1.
